Are you still under more lockdown measures there? We are largely "back to normal," with masks (in our school district, although I don't think that's common). I'm disappointed everyone here went right back to normal--which means our high school sports teams travel hundreds of miles to play other sports teams, just for the competition. Seems like a waste of time and gas to me, but our schools really care about after-school athletics.

We were under lockdown last year and personally I miss teaching my kids myself. Now it is HARDER for me to volunteer in their schools or hear anything about what they are learning. It is all very impersonal.

I am sorry you had your own PING moment with your general. I will hope you and yours are safe and continue to be so.
