I have known other people with Type 1 and have been knocked over by how carefully it has to be watched even during sleep--Yes, I can see why this technology is near and dear. My spouse also benefits from heart meds, which have also really advanced in the last century.

I wish we were better at keeping the really useful and elegant stuff--the glucose monitor--and getting rid of the stuff that isn't so great and which seems to mainly be enriching a few dozen Tech Bros.
