Thank you for this kind comment. I know it is not forever because my Mom died before Christmas. It was more of a shock than I thought it would be, but I am so relieved for her; she was ready.

We were so lucky that she had resources and she was in a place with compassionate caregivers. That had already made helping her so much easier, but even the interpersonal contact of going into her facility, interacting with other residents and staff, talking with family members about her care, it's a lot for a person who needs a lot of non-talking time.
