It's not for everyone, but I agree, I love seeing my kids in an environment where I normally wouldn't get to, and where they spend so much of their day.

I know volunteering requires time and flexibility. I'm just confused because I live in a wealthy area and I know a lot of people have highly flexible schedules and "progressive" values--and yet still the dads never show up!!
