Love that phrase "geriatric millennial"--I was a "geriatric pregnancy" with both my kids. Brought back memories. :)

I really do think it's crappy to have to leave family and hometown just because of ridiculously elevated property values. Somebody else commented not to worry, wealth the Boomers hold will just end up being transferred, but that doesn't really help you and me, does it? The point is we kind of want to be NEAR our living family, not cheering for them to die so we can get some of their estate to help us survive.

And thank you for the "The Deficit Myth" suggestion, I'm requesting it from the library now!
