This is a really interesting movie (the book was good too), and well-acted by George Clooney and Anna Kendrick.
I am lucky in that I have a lot of family to be connected to, but I well remember when I traveled a bit for work how much I loved the "blank slate" of airports and generic hotel rooms. They were wonderful for clearing my head and making me feel unreachable. Very freeing. I'm sad we don't get that feeling much anymore, being constantly available on cell phones.
So enjoy this as your comfort movie, but also enjoy the times you can have good conversations with your parents. Sounds like a good life.
