I'm rather sorry you "know this flow," it's kind of an upsetting flow (or at least I feel it is).

The kids and their need for my time isn't the problem. All the nonsense around the kids is--every day I hear a new disturbing story about middle school. I wish I could unschedule my kids' days even more than I wish I could unschedule my own.
