This was not your standard "life your best life now and money will follow" or whatever prosperity gospel porn that Tom Kuegler and Tim Denning write, which seems to do well here (more power to them), so you're right, it might be too common-sense.

Lately I'm trying to write articles on Constant Content, which is basically a content mill. It seemed pretty easy to set up an account there, although it's super-weird that they don't want you to provide any outside links (they have clients who buy content for their blogs and of course don't want their readers to click away from their sites) or write in the first person. It's not lucrative either but I have sold a few articles there, just offering tips based on my few practical skills (caregiving, public speaking, etc.), and that seems to me just as easy as trying to guess what Medium readers want and making a few pennies per article here.
