Time for me to move to Australia, I like the way you think.

Did you have a specific class? Or was it taught in a Home economics or science framework? We have some home ec but very few people take it, and we have "health" class where they cover nutrition briefly. Otherwise we really don't get information about our food in school. And the food they EAT in school--chicken nuggets and pizza and other very salty food as far as the eye can see. My kids love it because I try to cook heart-healthy--lots of beans, veggies, etc.--and they hate that! Sigh.
