We are arguing about one line that I used to illustrate that look, this article is not telling you all scientists are infallible, this article is telling you we are so far gone that all you have to do to feel the difference in the weather is go outside where you live.
Even scientists have been known to lie when it's expedient for them. Please remember Anthony Fauci telling people masks made no difference, because he was worried it would cause greater shortages for medical personnel. I understand that, but it was still a lie. I'm really sorry, but that and countless other experiences have eroded my trust. I am not alone in that and it's time to start dealing with that legacy.
My apologies for the phrase of "scientist types." Lazy writing more than anything. "I struggle with trusting the scientific establishment" might have hit nearer the mark.
