We cared for my mom in her own home for several years. When she needed around the clock care, many of us did not have homes with an extra bedroom, or with accessible bathrooms. At some point we could no longer make our own livings or care for our own children AND care for a senior with dementia.

But I wish you luck in enacting that plan. We prayed we would be able to do that to the end. But we couldn't.
