Well, I respect that this is as logical and compelling an argument for their relationship that I've ever heard. But ever since reading a 1999 Vanity Fair article on their relationship, I find I dislike her intensely. Here's a line from it, describing everything that is terrible about personhood as Ms. Clinton practices it:

"Hillary doesn't wait for the facts when it comes to his behavior," confided a lawyer close to the case. "She rushes to judgment and turns her anger on their external enemies."

In other words, blame the women. Always blame the women.

He remains the man he was: well-respected, still getting to be married and be grandpa, still exceedingly wealthy due to their partnership. He seems like he's doing just fine. As does Ms. Clinton. I doubt whether many of the other women who were involved with him and then slandered or judged as their "enemies" fared as well.
