Well, if you start to look at lots of jobs, you start to get very uneasy about what is absolutely necessary and what is not.
I think there was a time when a case could be made for people owning one or a few local properties and keeping them up (and not gouging their tenants) as a way to grow income, but landlording mostly as part of private equity schemes is not cool.
Likewise, I think some Amazon resellers are doing whatever they can to make it in the gig economy and work from home.
I got nothing on day traders. Definitely a pretend job. :)
