Yes, I understand this feeling.

For many years many of Catholicism's teachings worked for me, maybe it was just a personality thing. I liked that it was a church that offered Mary and the saints, and I enjoy confession. So there were reasons for me to stay, even though I could also see the bs and the patriarchy.
