Yes, my roommate was very unhappy that she had to try to figure out what my best friend and I were saying (our voices are similar as well). I can't imagine trying to speech or voice read an overlapped conversation if I had hearing difficulties.

I have several friends who are hearing impaired in one ear, so this is a great reminder to be to always be mindful of that and to not overlap. Thank you for this comment!
