You do raise some excellent points.

I am not concerned with the top 10-20% wealth class (for now)--they are a lot of the problem, taking steps to avoid taxes at all points, underpaying for food and domestic help, and paying for every advantage to push their children to the top of the next heap. Which I do understand. But still.

But everyone else? I honestly do believe it's hard to make a living and getting harder. I am Gen X myself, and do wonder how millennials are making their money. I don't actually see many of them in the care home--CNAs tend to be young because it's such a physically destroying job, so I think a lot of them are Gen Z. Either way, the CNAs are not making nearly enough of the cost of care. Like the housing crisis, there's a lot of pieces here I clearly don't understand.
