For me it's a tough one because I largely lived how my grandparents lived and christ it was a lot of work. I guess I was hoping for a little better out of humanity in the 21st century, like, hey, maybe if we all consumed a little less we could still sometimes live a life that isn't constant drudgery and toil. Nothing against the farm but I didn't get much time to read there, and I do so love reading.

It's weird to say this in a very uncivil society but it's time to be a bit more outwardly rude to the upper income class and say, please stop taking 12 flying vacations a year. It's screwing up our weather. Also, find an independent farmer and make them your charity, rather than slapping your names on unnecessary monuments and other things (like a stupid new football stadium in the rich suburb where I live as a townie).

The weather is different. It's freaking me out.
