You're definitely understanding what makes me nervous about this whole concept.

Frankly, everyone should know by now that we're being watched and recorded anywhere--and yet you see a lot of scary Ring doorbell videos and cop body cams--so it's time to be honest that recording everyone is not really causing them to behave better.

It also sets us all up for thinking this situation is normal--that we are all being surveilled every second. It's not right.
